Research project description

This study uses social capital, communities of practice and blended learning as theoretical lenses to explore three programs of accredited university-level education delivered to refugees on the Thai-Burma border (TBB) between 2003 and 2010.

The project seeks to identify why in situ higher education for refugees in locations of protracted forced migration are so scant and understand complexities in the attainment of higher education by refugees on the TBB.
