Kaitlin is a passionate higher-education worker with experience in student engagement, academic support and university operations.
She began her career while studying for her Master of Professional Accounting iat The University of Tasmania in 2021. Kaitlin worked as a Community Engagement Leader, helping to organise and host events to promote and enhance students' campus experience in the university community. She also worked in other student-engagement roles, including Student Centre Concierge and Badminton Coordinator to help enhance student engagement on campus.
Later the same year she was an administrative assistant in one of the faculties to support both postgraduate students and academics. In 2022, Kaitlin moved to the finance department as a Finance Systems Support Officer to help students and staff members from all over the university with their finance systems enquiries. During her three years at the University of Tasmania, Kaitlin continued to learn skills and gain experience in building rapport and communicating with different university stakeholders especially students, academics and professional staff members.
In 2023. Kaitlin decided to move back to Sydney, where she had lived for more than eight years moving to Tasmania: home was calling.
Kaitlin worked briefly for Westpac before applying for the position of Teaching and Curriculum Officer with the University of Sydney, because she said the University is her alma mater and, she feels, her destination, for now.
